Songs From the Sanctuary - Volume III

The witness went forth that they were having “church” in the Samuel P. Miller chapel on the campus of the historic Princeton Theological Seminary. The concert “This far By Faith” featured sacred stylings and musical worship traditions and expressions from the music leadership of the old European “Precentor”, the leader of music in worship, and the call and response of Africa, the song leader in dialogue with congregational singers, to the splendor and rich harmonies of the Princeton Chapel Choir, and the captivating alluring power of the solo singer.

Through sundry genres of Classical anthems, traditional and folk spirituals, hymns, gospel music, and inspirational songs the hearts of the aggregation of worshippers were enlivened, encouraged, and enriched in their religious experience and Christian sojourn.

My prayer is that the listener will bear witness in their own souls to the power, catharsis, illumination, and sheer joy inherent in this third compilation of Songs From The Sanctuary Hymns Spirituals and Classic Gospels.
